Every Advisor account starts with an invite. A tenant administrator adds your email, and Advisor sends a single-use link to create your account.

## Create the account with a password

1. Open the link in the email. The **Criar sua conta** (Create your account) page shows "Você foi convidado para" (You were invited to) and the tenant name.
2. The **E-mail** field is already filled in and cannot be changed.
3. Fill in **Nome** (Name), **Senha** (Password) and **Confirmação de senha** (Confirm password).
4. Select **Criar conta e entrar** (Create account and sign in).

### Password rules

| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum length | 10 characters |
| Maximum length | 72 bytes |
| Content | At least one letter and one number |

If the two passwords do not match, the page shows "A confirmação não confere com a senha." (The confirmation does not match the password.)

## Create the account through SSO

When your email domain has SSO:

- **Optional SSO:** the page offers **Continuar com SSO** (Continue with SSO) in addition to the password.
- **Mandatory SSO:** the name and password fields are hidden, and the main button becomes **Continuar com SSO**. The account is created on your first sign-in through your company's provider.

**Continuar com Google** (Continue with Google) shows up when the environment offers it and the domain does not require SSO.

## Link states

| What you see | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| **Criar sua conta** | Valid invite | Follow the steps above. |
| **Convite indisponível** (Invite unavailable) | The link expired, was revoked or was already used | Request a new invite from your tenant administrator. |
| **Você já tem conta** (You already have an account) | The email already had an Advisor account; access to the new tenant was granted | Select **Fazer login** (Sign in) and use your current credentials. |

An invite is valid for 7 days and can be used only once. Resending it invalidates the previous link.
